We took Livie to the Seattle Aquarium for her first time a few weeks ago and she loved it. I have been meaning to do a quick post about it and time has seemed to slip away so here it is.
I grew up being on the water on my family’s sailboat and love all of the sea animals. In fact, I wanted to be a marine biologist growing up, then I found out that math and science are not so fun so that plan flew out the window
. Anyways, naturally I want to expose her to sea life and the water and I hope she enjoys it as much as I do.

We had never taken her to a zoo or aquarium before this trip. It just seemed a little silly when she was so young and can’t really enjoy it so we decided to wait. It was the perfect time to go at 14 months.
love these little windows – just the right size for little people
She loves animals and can do all kinds of animal sounds when asked. She hadn’t been exposed much to sea life so it was great introducing all of those animals to her at the aquarium. We also got her some cool under water books at the gift shop and she received a pretty sweet stuffed walrus from Santa for Christmas. We call him Wally
She also loved seeing all of the other kids at the Aquarium and probably enjoyed them just as much as the animals and fish.
Fun family outings are the best!
We are really looking forward to taking her to the Living Desert in a couple of weeks when we are down south visiting family. Jeff and I have been to the Living Desert together and we both really enjoyed it. They have all kinds of cool animals; giraffes, zebras, cougars and lots more. We can’t wait!

Aw, so cute! I’ve never been to the Seattle Aquarium, I should go!
